The Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday said that he would soon talk to the representatives of the Tata Company to persuade them to set up Nano Car Project in the State. “Every facility would be provided to the Company,” he said.

Hooda, who was talking to the mediapersons after the laying the foundation stone of a about Rs 35 crore Railway over Bridge over Hisar-Dabwali Road at Sirsa today, said that the Paddy procurement had commenced in the State and all arrangements had been made to provide every facility to the farmers and traders in all the Mandis.

He directed the officers to ensure that there should not be any problem regarding lifting of paddy and shortage of bags, etc. The Central Government would soon announce bonus on paddy and it would be more than that of last year, he hoped.

In reply to a question regarding Lok Sabha elections, Hooda said that he would go to the public with the issue of development. The public recognising the development works undertaken by the State Government would certainly vote in favour of Congress Party.

Tatas to decide on Nano plant’s new site next week

Tata Motors Ltd would decide in a week on relocating the Nano manufacturing plant at Dharwad in north Karnataka from Singur in West Bengal after studying similar location offers in other states, Karnataka state industries minister Murugesh Nirani said late on Sunday.

Tata Motors managing director G Ravi Kant, who inspected two sites adjacent to the company’s existing facility near Dharwad, about 420 km from here, told Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa that he would get back in a week and arrange a meeting with group chairman Ratan Tata.

“Kant told the chief minister a decision to relocate the integrated plant near Dharwad or in other states would be communicated to him by next week. He also assured the chief minister a meeting with Tata,” Nirani told reporters from Dharwad by phone.

Ferrari puts up Ferrari F149 GT teaser site!

Ferrari has set up a countdown site for its upcoming Ferrari F149 GT car with four sound clips and a promise for more details and photos to be revealed later. The GT car will have a front engine and power will go to the rear-wheels, and styling is expected to be inspired by its larger sibling the 612 Scaglietti. The teaser image above gives a shadowy preview of the rear brakelight cluster of the car. The new Ferrari F149 GT car will be unveiled at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.
